MYSTERY HUNTERS

(previously known as the Sunday School)

Our new session of Mystery Hunters started in September and we were very encouraged to see our youngsters back again with a few new members.

This year so far we have been studying the story of Moses, from the baby in the bulrushes to leading the people of Israel out of slavery in Egypt, and so to Moses receiving the Ten Commandments from God. This has been interesting and the children have enjoyed singing, "How Did Moses Cross The Red Sea".

We celebrated Harvest Thanksgiving with a Family Service and the children brought gifts to be distributed.  Our Mystery Hunters also dressed the Communion Table for this special service.  These goods were also distributed to one of the local care homes.

Our Autumn Fayre was next and alongside the youngsters from Streetwise we served delicious hot dogs and two of our young ladies manned the nail bar.  Well done Robyn and Laura.

Plans are underway as you read this for our Christmas treat for the children and details will follow shortly to parents concerning this.

Once again the Mystery Hunters will contribute to the Christmas Family Service on Sunday 18th December and we would like to take this opportunity to invite you all along to share this very special time in the Church’s' life.

We want to wish our elder Fay McAuley a speedy recovery from her recent surgery and to assure her she is very special to the Mystery Hunters and that we are missing her from Church.

That's all for now folks, see you all in the new year.

Christmas blessings
